If you're looking for old western dancing and live entertainment, then look no farther than the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole Wyoming!

This old bar got it's start way back in the 1890's, right around the time Wyoming became a state. It was one of the first commercial buildings in Jackson. The site originally was a doctors office, but was rented out to a bank. Once the back was torn down, a man by the name of Joe Ruby set up 'Ruby's Cafe and Beer Garden.'

Around the late 1930's, a man by the name of Ben Goe bought the bar and changed the name to the 'Cowboy Bar.' After the repeal of the prohibition in the U.S., Goe won the first liquor license in the Cowboy State.

Since then, the bar has hand many owners, went through many renovations, but is still one of the most historic, top-notch places for live entertainment and dancing in Wyoming.

If you go, you'll see the leather, saddle bar stools, the London-made red carpet, and is still a huge part of what we call Western-Americana. It's one of the hottest places in the Tetons.

So, if you're ever n the Grand Tetons and want to take an entertaining, historical cruise through time, then check out the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and feel like a million bucks!
