Wyoming’s General Fund received an additional $89.9 million in February to reach $672.2 million. Jim Robinson, senior economist with the state's Economic Analysis Division, says  fiscal year-to-date General Fund revenues exceeded projections by $45.8 million or 4.5 percent.

The sales and use tax added $45.7 million in February raising its total to almost $289.7 million for the year, $8.8 million ahead of projections. Investment income was leading its forecast by $24.9 million while severance tax collections were ahead by $9.6 million.

Robinson says February’s numbers were also much higher in a year-ago comparison, exceeding February 2011 by almost $10.0 million.
