Fallen Officers Remembered

(Amy Richards\TSM)

Law Enforcement officers from across the state were in Cheyenne Saturday for the 2nd Annual Fallen Officers Memorial at the Capitol building. Cheyenne mayor Rick Kaysen read a proclamation from Governor Matt Mead , which was followed by the reading of the names of the 67 officers who have died in the line of duty in Wyoming. The participants then proceeded down capitol avenue to the Cheyenne Depot. Laramie County Sheriff Danny Glick says it is important to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
