For the most part, employers are not a tight wade Scrooge this year. It seems more and more employers are embracing the holiday spirit this Christmas.  It seems that more companies are booking holiday parties and giving out year end bonuses to their employees, more so than in previous years.

Harris HR did a survey of about 3,000 employee HR professionals and found some pretty good news in regards to employers giving to their employees this year. About 63% of those polled said that their employees plan to throw a Christmas party and they plan to attend.

About 46% of employers plan to stuff the stockings of their employees with holiday bonuses this year as well.

Some of the most unusual gift exchanges amongst office workers this year were a box of Hot Pockets, bags of chips and gun of the day calendars, to name a few.

It's good to see that our employers are in the Christmas spirit and if yours isn't, well....there's always next year.
