No injuries were reported in a single-family house fire this morning in Cheyenne. Cheyenne Fire and Rescue spokesman Byron Mathews says at 6:45 a.m. firefighters responded to a blaze at 918 W. 29th Street. He says the fire was quickly under control and out in about 10 minutes. The lone occupant in the house at the time of the fire was able to safely exit. The fire was contained to the living room area but there was smoke damage throughout the home. The damage is estimated at $35,000 to $40,000. Mathews says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
