DWS Launches New Website

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services has a new website: www.wyomingworkforce.org. The website reflects last year’s re-organization of the Department of Workforce Sservices and the Department of Employment into one agency.

The new DWS website features a job search engine, information on labor standards, workers’ compensation, mine safety, labor market information, occupational safety and health, training grants for businesses, unemployment insurance benefits, vocational rehabilitation and a host of other services.

Fraud reports can also be submitted to DWS's team of auditors to address improper payments and suspected fraud. Joan Evans, director of the agency says " this easy-to-navigate tool provides quick access to many of the important services the Department of  Workforce services offers, and serves as an interactive and educational resource for job seekers and employers alike.”

In addition to the information and reporting sections, the new website links to DWS's  facebook and twitter accounts where the department posts job openings and tips for job-seekers.
