Drop Off Locations Added to To Saturday’s Prescription Drug Take Back

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held Saturday April 30th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The Laramie County Sheriff’s Department and Cheyenne Police Department have added two additional drop off locations for this Saturday’snational event. Area drop off points will be at Walgreens (2304 E. Lincolnway), Hoy’s Drug (1115 E. Pershing Blvd. and the Laramie County Sheriff's Department (1910 Pioneer Ave). Pine Bluffs citizens can drop off their unwanted prescription drugs in front of the Town Hall (220 Main St) during the same time period.

According to a news release, there will be a Cheyenne Day of Giving representative at both the Hoy’s Drug and Walgreens drop off locations to accept and screen medications for possible recirculation to those who are less fortunate. This year’s annual Cheyenne Day of Giving is Friday, May 13th 2011, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Cheyenne Kiwanis Community House.
