Downtown Cheyenne Tree Planting Project Starts Tuesday

The City of Cheyenne Urban Forestry Division will begin planting 25 trees in downtown Cheyenne starting on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Trees will be planted along Lincolnway, Capitol, Warren, 20th St., Carey, and several other locations. Motorists are being asked to watch carefully for work crews and drive carefully.

Cheyenne Urban Forestry recently became responsible for the trees in downtown Cheyenne right now, and officials say they will be working hard to take care of existing trees and plant new ones.
