Since Wyoming’s immunization law requires all students entering seventh grade to receive a tetanus vaccine, Laramie County School District 1 and Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department nurses are sponsoring immunization clinics for sixth-grade students. Tdap vaccines will be available, which cover tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis.

Students will be bringing home forms for parents/guardians to fill out expressing their desire to have their students participate. Forms are also available on the district’s website, www.laramie1.org. Go to the parents tab, then school health services.

Vaccines are free of charge, and all students are eligible to receive them. However, a $10 donation for each shot is appreciated. Please make all checks out to: Laramie County Treasurer.
