U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is encouraging Wyoming high school students to apply to be a Senate Page for one of the two summer sessions in Washington, D.C. The deadline for summer applications is March 5th.

Enzi says page duties consist primarily of delivering correspondence and legislative material at the Capitol. Other duties include preparing the Senate chamber for sessions and carrying bills and amendments to the appropriate people on the Senate floor. Both of the summer sessions offer a Field Studies Program which provides unique educational and cultural opportunities.

Applicants must have completed their sophomore year and be 16 or 17 years old on or before the date of appointment and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.

The summer sessions run from June 9 – June 27 and July 7 – August 1st.The application and additional information can be found by going to www.enzi.senate.gov.
