Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has won a ''Health Care's Most Wired" for it's information technology system.

The recognition was awarded in July by the Hospitals & Health Networks organization for having a state of the art, secure IT system. CRMC was one of 375 hospitals and health networks across the country to receive the recognition, which is given out based on the results of a survey and benchmark study.

Among the areas covered are the use of  "best practices" for patient safety, as well as the management of patient transitions.
