Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is hosting a men’s health outreach on November 21.

Free cholesterol, testosterone, glucose and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests will be offered.

"Men tend not to be as proactive about getting needed wellness check-ups," said Barbara Lawyer, CRMC Oncology Program Manager. "This event offers a convenient way for men in our community to receive basic screenings at no cost and to also find out more about issues that tend to have a significant impact on men’s health in our county and state."

Information on free screenings for lung, testicular, prostate and colorectal screenings will be available.  Free stool-testing kits, a limited number of free flu shots and low-cost radon testing kits will also be offered.

Men who browse materials on smoking cessation can also enter for a chance to win a free turkey.

The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the main lobby of the CRMC Cancer Center.
