Crews Fighting 340-acre Wildfire Near Bondurant

BONDURANT, Wyo. (AP) — Crews are fighting a wildfire burning on 340 acres near Bondurant.

The Packer Creek Fire is burning in heavy timber and dead trees about 28 miles north of Pinedale.

About 100 firefighters have been assigned to fight the fire, including three Hotshot crews and eight smokejumpers. Two helicopters have been dropping water on the fire and air tankers are also expected to join the fight.
The fire was discovered Friday. Firefighters hope to have it fully contained by Saturday.
