“Cowboys Vs. Cancer” Campaign Announced

The Wyoming Cowboys football team is joining forces with Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and Jonah Bank of Wyoming to raise money to fight cancer this fall.

Tammy Thiede, Director of Oncology Services at CRMC says Jonah Bank has pledged a $100 donation to the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center for every touchdown the Cowboys score this fall. University of Wyoming Athletics Director Tom Burman is also encouraging UW football fans "to embrace the challenge and support the cause" by making donations as well.

Thiede says at some point people will be able to make donations by texting a number, but adds those details haven't been worked out yet.
