The Wyoming Cowboys lost in overtime to New Mexico 52-49 Saturday in the regular season finale for both teams.

It was the fourth straight time the teams have battled into overtime, and the 12th consecutive time Wyoming has lost to the Lobos in Albuquerque.

Larry Nance Jr. had his second straight 21 point game and Riley Grabau added 15 for Wyoming, but they were the only Wyoming players to score more than 5 points.

The two teams ended regulation tied at 44,, but New Mexico jumped out to a 50-44 lead in overtime and never looked back.

The Cowboys end the regular season at 11-7 (22-9 overall),  in Mountain West play, good for fourth place in the conference. They are slated to play fifth place Utah State on Thursday, March 12th in Mountain West Tournament action in Las Vegas.
