Brett Smith signs autographs for young Cowboy Fans (Amy Richards\TSM)

The Wyoming Cowboys were in Cheyenne Saturday for a scrimmage at Central High’s Riske Field for the Cowboys In the Capitol event. In addition to the football team: Cowboy Joe, the pony; Pistol Pete; and the University of Wyoming cheer squad were in attendance.

The team signed autographs and posed for pictures for the fans. Junior Quarterback Brett Smith said the interaction with the fans is very important to him and the team. He said the team appreciates the support of the fans when things are going good as well as when things aren’t going so well.
