Have you ever owned a model railroad?

Many kids have received toy trains under the tree at Christmas, at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum in Greeley you can see 'Night Trains with Santa' this Friday, December 19, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is located in the Greeley Freight Station at 680 10th Street, less than an hour's drive south on US Highway 85.

Starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 19, the lights will be dimmed on the model railroad display for a view of night time traffic on the rails, miniature-style. Enjoy the museum and a visit with Santa Claus up until 8 p.m.

The cost of admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 65 and older, $4 for children 12 and under and there's also a $1 military discount.

And if you're a railroad fanatic, there's more events on the way before the year ends including 'Christmas Eve in the Morning' and 'Clickety-Clack Down the Track-New Years Eve.'
