It's nice to look back on the year 2017 and find all the good it brought us.

Isn't it strange how easy it is to find the negative in things? I refuse to do this, especially with a new year approaching. We saw some really tough things in 2017 however, we also saw a lot of love. Numerous people looked beyond their own comfort to take care of others. I know this can be hard to see with so many outlets throwing the bad at us left and right, but take this list as proof of the good.

WalletHub recently compiled a list of 2017's Most Caring Cities in America.

First and foremost, Americans are giving more and more. In fact, $390 billion was donated in 2016. That number continues to trend upward. WalletHub looked at the 100 largest cities across the country. Their information came primarily from factors like the share of homeless who have shelter, the number of volunteer hours per capita and even how much of someone's income is donated to charity.

Although no cities in the state of Wyoming made the list, Colorado landed three cities in the top 25. I don't think the Cowboy state was found on the list because of a lack of charity, but simply because our cities were not big enough to be considered. Colorado Springs came in at number 13 on the list, while Denver and Aurora landed at numbers 24 and 25 respectively.
