Coleman Sworn In As HD 30 Representiatve
Republican Kathy Coleman was sworn in Monday morning as the newest member of the Wyoming State Legislature.
Coleman was appointed by the Sheridan County Commission to replace Rep. Jonathon Botten, who resigned from the seat on September 10th. Upon assuming the seat, Coleman said a couple of her priority issues as a lawmaker would include proposals to increase hunting license fees and raise the state gas tax. She said that while those issues are among the most important to her constituents, she intends to approach those and all other issues with an open mind before casting a vote. She went on to say that as a new legislator “I’ll probably do a lot more listening than talking”.
