The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says some areas of southeast Wyoming could see snowfall and possibly slick roads late this afternoon and tonight.

The weather service posted this statement on its website on Wednesday morning:

Light to occasionally moderate snow will fall this afternoon, and especially overnight tonight, across much of southeast Wyoming, south of a Douglas to Torrington line. The most snow will fall over the Snowy Range and near Arlington, and over east central Albany County to the north of Laramie. Roads will become slick tonight, where snow falls, and temperatures will be quite cold tonight with low temperatures in the single digits and teens.
