Crews with the City of Cheyenne Street and Alley Department will be spraying gravel streets as part of a dust control effort on Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting.

City spokesman Scott Smith says city maintained gravel roads are sprayed with magnesium chloride every year as a dust control measure.

Motorists are asked to avoid driving on the roads for about an hour after they have been sprayed.

But Smith says cars that do get some of the material on them can easily be cleaned off using soap and water
