Cheyenne’s Unity Missionary Baptist Church Offers Thanksgiving Dinner
Do you have anyone to spend Thanksgiving with on Thursday?
The Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Cheyenne will be sponsoring their annual free Thanksgiving dinner at the new Community House in Lions Park.
The dinner is prepared each year for those who might be sick or unable to get out, senior citizens, singles who may be alone or away from family and the less fortunate in our community.
Thanksgiving dinner will be served from noon until 4 p.m. at the Kiwanis Community House. Free delivery of meals is possible by calling ahead at 634-5643.
The menu will be a traditional Thanksgiving feast including:
- Roasted Turkey
- Cornbread Dressing
- Giblet Gravy
- Green Beans
- Cranberry Sauce
- Mashed Potatoes
- Dinner Rolls
- Beverages
- Dessert of Sweet Potato Pie
If you know of anyone spending Thanksgiving by themselves, spread the word that there's a place they may get a free meal and congregate with others.
