Could you hear Cheyenne's Outdoor Warning Sirens if there was a tornado?

You'll find out on Friday, September 6, at noon when the Cheyenne and Laramie County Emergency Management Agency tests the warning sirens. The system will sound a steady signal for about 1 to 3 minutes.The Cheyenne outdoor warning sirens are tested at noon on the first Friday of each month and in Pine Bluffs their sirens will be tested at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 6.

During an actual emergency, residents should take cover immediately when they hear the sirens and tune into your local radio station for more information.
