CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A Cheyenne woman accused of disposing of a murder victim's personal property to prevent police from identifying him has been sentenced to more than two years in prison.

35-year-old Kimberly Brewer was sentenced Thursday to 25 to 28 months in prison on a charge of being an accessory after a murder.

She was one of four people arrested after 48-year-old Anthony Hayward was found dead in his room at the Big Horn Motel on Dec. 7, 2014. He died of asphyxiation.

Dagoberto Ontiveros and Joshua Bowen were accused of killing Hayward while trying to rob him. Ontiveros pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 20 to 24 years in prison. Bowen pleaded guilty to the same crime and is awaiting sentencing.

The fourth person who was arrested was not charged.
