Cheyenne Water and Sewer Projects Week of October 21

As part of ongoing efforts to maintain Cheyenne’s water and sewer systems, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities expects construction in the following areas during the upcoming week. This list consists of the projects that require traffic controls and may be of interest to motorists and residents.

Acacia Drive – Traffic controls between Kelley Drive and Spruce Drive. 
Purpose: Sewer main lining
Expected Dates: 10/21/13 to 10/25/13

Bradley Avenue – Closed to through traffic between East 3rd Avenue and East 5th Avenue. 
Purpose: Fire hydrant replacement
Expected Dates: 10/21/13 to 10/25/13

Columbus Drive – Access to Columbus Drive limited during daytime hours. 
Purpose: Fire hydrant replacement
Expected Dates: 10/15/13 to 11/1/13

Chestnut Drive – Traffic controls near the intersection with Fremont Avenue and in the alley east of the Cole Shopping Center.
Purpose: Sewer main lining
Expected Dates: 10/23/13 to 10/30/13

East 7th Street – Closed to through traffic between Warren Avenue and Evans Avenue. 
Purpose: Water main replacement
Expected Dates: 9/23/13 to 10/25/13

East 7th Street – Closed to through traffic between Pebrican Avenue and Bradley Avenue. 
Purpose: Water main replacement
Expected Dates: 10/14/13 to 11/30/13

Locust Drive – Traffic controls near the intersection with Kelley Drive and in the nearby alley parallel to and between Old Faithful Road and Fir Drive. 
Purpose: Sewer main lining
Expected Dates: 10/21/13 to 10/25/13

Pike Street – Closed to through traffic between Antelope Avenue and Deer Avenue. 
Purpose: Sewer manhole replacement
Expected Dates: 10/15/13 to 10/30/13

Tumbleweed Drive – Closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Rodeo Avenue and Brittany Drive.
Purpose: Sewer manhole maintenance
Expected Dates: 10/21/13 to 10/27/13

Weaver Road – Closed to through traffic between Storey Boulevard and Montclair Drive. 
Purpose: Water main replacement
Expected Dates: 9/23/13 to 10/25/13

Windmill Road – Closed to through traffic between Linden Way and Pineridge Avenue. 
Purpose: Water main replacement
Expected Dates: 10/14/13 to 11/1/13
