Cheyenne VA Medical Center Throws a Party

About 300 people attended the Cheyenne V.A. Medical Center's holiday party and welcome home event for veterans and their families Wednesday evening in Cheyenne. 

The event included food, music, Santa and Mrs.Claus as well as an opportunity for veterans to find out what the V.A. has to offer to veterans.

Jolene Dolan with Texas Roadhouse said during the month of November the restaurant accepted donations from their guests and staff  in an effort to raise money for the purchase of Texas Roadhouse gift cards to be given to homeless and transitional veterans in the community. At Wednesday's event the restaurant donated $2,785 dollars in gift cards to the Veterans Affairs Administration.
