Last year over 1,800 people in the Cheyenne area drove around a stop sign arm on school buses. So, this year students from South High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming used the skills they're learning in class to educate the public about the issue.

The students in South High's TV/Media 3 class were tasked with making public service announcements (PSAs) about the illegal passing of school buses. "[T]he story boarding, shot lists, filming, and editing were done by the students," South HighTV/Media teacher Lisa Hushbeck said

Hushbeck says the students worked on the project for about two weeks. They shot all the video over two class periods in January. "I believe we filmed on the two coldest days in January," Hushbeck said.

Along with the class, Hushbeck and South High resource officer, Manny Fardella, appear in the video as the car driver and police offer respectively.
