Cheyenne Salvation Army Seeking Thanksgiving Donations

A spokesman for the Cheyenne Salvation Army says that organization could use some help with this year's Thanksgiving meal for the needy.

Lt. Clinton Trimmer says the organization needs food donations, including the following:

Turkeys
Pies
Dinner Rolls
Stuffing
Whipped Cream/Cool Whip
Celery
Yellow Onions
Chicken Broth
Strawberry Jell-O
Green Beans
Heavy Stock Disposable Plates & Utensils.

Trimmer says people who would like to donate their time for the meal should donate Julio Perez at 634-2769. This year's Cheyenne Salvation Army Thanksgiving meal will be offered from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Headquarters at 601 E. 20th Street.
