According to a new nationwide study, Cheyenne is one of the best cities in the country for teachers. The Best Places to Be a Teacher in the U.S., published this week by the consumer website Good Call, ranks Cheyenne as the 47th best city for teachers in the nation.

Citing research from the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Center for Education, the study analyzed several factors, including teacher salaries, cost of living, the number of teaching jobs available and high school graduation rates in the area.
