Cheyenne Preparing to Mark 150th Anniversary

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A time capsule dedication and dinner featuring the current and former mayors will mark the 150th anniversary of Wyoming's capital city next month.

City officials are still seeking additional ideas for how to commemorate Cheyenne's sesquicentennial.

Events will take place Aug. 7-12.

The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce will host a dinner with Mayor Marian Orr and five past mayors who will discuss the city's past, present and future Aug. 7.
