The Cheyenne Police Department will hold a seminar for people interested in joining the force Wednesday (April 6) at 7 p.m., according to spokesman Dan Long.

He says the event will explain the CPD hiring process and tell potential recruits what they should do to become a Cheyenne Police Officer.

Long says both male and female officers will also be on hand to answer questions. He says the CPD wants to hire up to 10 new officers.

The next testing session will be April 19-20. More information is available on the CPD website. The event is being held at the police department at 2020 Capitol Avenue.
