Hundreds of Cheyenne seniors will receive their high school diplomas this weekend and Cheyenne police will be stepping up their efforts to curb alcohol-related crimes.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says police will be out in full force conducting "party patrols" and high visibility DUI enforcement.

"We'll have the DUI command vehicle set up in an effort to deter impaired drivers and allow officers to spend more time patrolling the streets," said Malatesta.

"Drivers in Wyoming who are under 21 years old can receive a DUI with any BAC higher than .02 percent," he added.

Malatesta says people wanting to report an underage party or drunk driver should call local law enforcement at (307) 637-6525.
