Cheyenne Police Plan Black Friday Enforcement Effort

The Cheyenne Police Department plans to be out in force on Friday, according to spokesman Officer Dan Long.

He says officers will be concentrating on traffic violations in the Dell Range corridor area. He adds volunteers from the Citizens On Patrol program will be checking for parking violations in all of the city's major shopping areas.

Long also says police will also be inside local stores, looking for shoplifters and any disturbances involving shoppers.
