Cheyenne Police Offer Free Burglary Prevention Class

The Cheyenne Police Department will offer a free class Sunday on how to protect your home from burglars.

Topics covered include how to make your home less attractive to burglars, what to do if you are robbed, and inexpensive ways to protect your home. Long says many of the recommendations include simple things such as lighting, the kind of locks you use and other easy steps to make your home less of a target.

The class is scheduled for February 23, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at the Community of Christ Church at 3525 McCann.

No registration is required. Interested persons can simply show up.
