Cheyenne Police Arrest Stabbing Suspect

A 28 year old Cheyenne man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his father Thursday night.

Cheyenne Police spokesman Officer Dan Long says police were called to 5115 Kim Lane around 5 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting a stabbing. Long says Justin Clark allegedly stabbed his father, 46 year old Calvin Clark, five times. Calvin Clark was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center where his condition is unknown.

Long says investigators are still trying to find out what led to the stabbing. Justin Clark was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on Aggravated Assault charges. which under Wyoming law is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
