Cheyenne Neighberhood Night Out Tonight

Cheyenne Police Department

The Cheyenne Police Department has organized the 5th annual Neighborhood Night Out event for tonight.

Police Department spokesman Officer Dan Long says police will close streets in multiple neighborhoods so residents can hold barbecues and block parties as they meet their neighbors and Cheyenne Police Officers. Long says the event is designed to bring propel together to fight crime in Cheyenne.

Each block party will be unique and may feature vastly different food and entertainment. Long also says S.W.A.T. team members, K-9 units and other police officers will tour the city visiting various parties.
