Are you interested in rocks, fossils, gems and minerals?

The 15th Annual Cheyenne Mineral, Fossil, Gem and Rock Show sets up May 17 and 18 at the Archer Complex Building M, six miles east of Cheyenne on Interstate 80 off exit 370.

The show runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. Admission is $3, children 12 and under are free with an adult.

Saturday's activities include a visit from Colorado Rockies' mascot Dinger from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Exhibits feature jewelry, fossils, large dinosaur models, free gold panning, fluorescent minerals and demonstrations. Grab bags and free mineral coloring books will also be available while supplies last.

The 15th Annual Cheyenne Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Rock Show is hosted by the Cheyenne Mineral and Gem Society.
