Four Cheyenne men were recognized this weekend for their life saving efforts at a car/motorcycle crash on June 17th in Cheyenne.

The four are Bob Bradshaw, Anthony Butler, Donnie Heiduck and Al Wolf. Cheyenne Firefighter and Paramedic Joe Chu, who was on the scene, gave the following eyewitness report of what happened:

"On June 17th 2015 Cheyenne Fire and Rescue, American Medical Response and the Cheyenne Police Department responded on a 2 vehicle accident involving a passenger car and motorcycle with 1 known patient that had an amputated leg. Upon the arrival of Emergency Services the patient was lying in the street being attended to by Bob Bradshaw, Anthony Butler, Donnie Heiduck and Al Wolf.

These individuals, citizens of our city provided exceptional care to the motorcyclist Tim Donley. While providing an expedient and coordinated effort these citizens were able to provide life saving measures to Tim Donley.

Gathering information, Assessing the patient and controlling the bleeding by applying a tourniquet to the amputated leg were provided to a patient that was in serious condition.

We at Cheyenne Fire and Rescue, American Medical Response and the Cheyenne Police Department would like to recognize the efforts of these citizens and to thank them for their commitment in making the City of Cheyenne a great place to live."

Bradshaw, Heiduck, Butler and Wolf were recognized at a special ceremony on Saturday at Little America in Cheyenne.
