Cheyenne Mayor-Elect Orr Names Transition Team

Cheyenne Mayor-Elect Marian Orr has named her mayoral transition team.

The team will be chaired by former Wyoming State Auditor Rita Meyer, who is currently a Vice President at Rocky Mountain Power.

Other members of the team include:

-Former Chief Deputy Attorney General and former state Public Defender Sylvia Hackl

-AVI Engineering President and former Director of Development and Zoning for the City of Cheyenne, Brad Emmons

-President of the Cheyenne Public Employees Association and Assistant Director of Projects for the City of Cheyenne Jason Sanchez

-Wyoming Equality Education and Outreach Coordinator Sara Burlingame

-Former Cheyenne City Councilman and small business owner Pat Collins

Former Senior Assistant Attorney General Larry Wolfe

Orr made the announcement on Saturday. she characterizes the group as "a great team" of ''strong professionals  who have a history of getting things done."
