ORIGINAL STORY:

A 39-year-old Cheyenne man is facing up to five years in prison for allegedly strangling his wife on Christmas Eve.

According to court documents, Daimon Forsch was arrested on January 27 after his wife reported the incident to Cheyenne Police.

Forsch's wife told police that Daimon wouldn't stop arguing with her and that he grabbed her thumb and bent it backwards and twisted her arm.

When she told her husband to get off her and let her go, she says Daimon started strangling her from behind with the crease of his elbow.

When questioned by police, Daimon said the disturbance was verbal only and nothing physical happened.

Forsch's preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 3 in Laramie County Circuit Court.
