A 21-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to 35 years in prison after being bound over for trial on felony drug charges.

Vincent Morales was bound over to Laramie County District Court this (Thursday) morning following his preliminary hearing.

According to court documents, Morales was arrested on March 19 after police searched his vehicle and found a backpack with 69.3 grams of methamphetamine, 3.9 grams of heroin, 5.5 grams of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in it.

Morales is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of heroin and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

His arraignment date has not yet been scheduled.
