Cheyenne Man Asks For Lottery Suit Dismissal

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A Cheyenne man is asking a district judge to dismiss a lawsuit the Wyoming Lottery Corp. filed against him alleging he's tried to sabotage the corporation's relationship with national lottery organizations.

The Wyoming Lottery filed a lawsuit in state district court in February against Edward Atchison.

The corporation is seeking an injunction to force Atchison to stop making what it calls false allegations about its operations to national lottery organizations.

Kingston notes the corporation was created by the state. He says the corporation is clearly trying to intimidate its critics and says its lawsuit poses a danger to free speech.
