Cheyenne Man Arrested Following Police Chase

A 42-year-old Cheyenne man is behind bars after leading police on a high-speed chase through Cheyenne this (Tuesday) afternoon.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says police attempted to stop Louis Medina near the intersection of E. 12th Street and Hugur Avenue around 3:45 p.m.

Medina, who was wanted on a felony warrant, sped off, but officers were able to deploy spike strips and stop him in the 800 block of Cleveland Avenue.

Malatesta says no one was injured and no property was damaged during the incident.
