Cheyenne Little Theatre’s ‘9 To 5: The Musical’ Runs May 1-17

Do you remember the movie '9 to 5' starring Dolly Parton, Lilly Tomlin and Jane Fonda?

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players latest production opening Friday, May 1, is '9 to 5: The Musical' with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton.

Most of us know the title track to this 1970's set show that runs May 1 through 17 at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse, on the corner of Windmill Rd. and Pershing Blvd. Show times are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and the Thursday discount performance and the Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m.

The play focuses on three women working in an office for a sexist boss and their scheme to get revenge. '9 to 5: The Musical' is based on the 20th Century Fox Motion Picture and contains adult themes and language. The show is recommended for those 16 and older.

This production is the finale of the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players' 85th season and is being directed by Travis Kirchhefer. There's a lot of local talent singing and acting in the cast, maybe you know some of them.
