Are the comics one of your favorite parts of the newspaper?

If you love the funnies, I'll bet you'll get a kick out of the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players latest production, the 'Comic Strip Radio Show,' coming to the Atlas Theatre this weekend.

The actors will be portraying characters straight out of the newspaper like Dick Tracy, Popeye and Superman. Also during the show, all the sound effects will be performed live on stage. It's almost like watching an old-time radio show being produced.

The Comic Strip Radio Show only runs January 23, 24 and 25 at the historic Atlas Theatre downtown on West Lincolnway. Showtimes are at 7:30 on Friday and Saturday nights and the Sunday matinee begins at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for students and $5 for children 12 and under. Take a trip back in time to the golden age of radio and bring back memories of your favorite comic strips with the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players.
