Cheyenne Lincolnway Detour Coming Next Week
A concrete slab repair project will cause a detour on Lincolnway in Cheyenne next week.
The work will be performed on the westbound part of Lincolnway in front of the Jack Spiker Parking Garage and the Dinneen Building. Westbound traffic will be routed north on Carey Avenue, west on 17th Street and back south on Thomes Avenue.
No right turns will be allowed from Pioneer Avenue to westbound Lincolnway. Traffic on Pioneer Avenue seeking to go straight across Lincolnway or make a left turn to eastbound Lincolnway will be allowed.
The detour will begin on Monday, August 7, according to a WYDOT release. It will be in effect on Mondays and Thursdays for about two weeks.
