It’s time to get into the Christmas spirit with a big forest of beautifully lit trees. The Hemi Lighted Forest, at 6565 Ashley Drive in Cheyenne, celebrates life and hope for children worldwide who are battling “intractable epilepsy.”  These children have undergone radical brain surgery, with hopes of living their lives without being afflicted by seizures.

Over 630 trees are glittering in lights, with each one lit to honor a child who has undergone Hemispherectomy Brain Surgery, and to bring awareness of The Hemispherectomy Foundation.

Now through February 28th, you can take your family to the Hemi Lighted Forest of Hope! You and your family can enjoy 4.5 acres of lighted trees, while you’re “all aboard” their Forest of Hope trackless train!

There’s 200,000 lights in all, that includes two indoor Christmas Displays, over 40 lighted reindeer, an outdoor lighted water feature which includes a creek and 5 waterfalls, plus life size bronze bears in the creek, hay rides, hot chocolate and more!

The rides and hot chocolate are free, with donations greatly appreciated.  The Hemi Lighted Forest is open almost every night from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m with the exception of a few chosen closed dates.
