The Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) promises a uniquely competitive show at the Ice and Events Center next week with the Flyweight World Championships. Flyweight fighters must weigh in between 108 and 112 pounds.

Cheyenne native Matt Manzanares, a junior Olympian boxer with a 7-2 record, is set to headline the main event on Friday, April 11. He'll compete against Junior Maranhao from Mossoro in the city of Guaruja, located on Santo Amaro Island on the Sao Paulo shore in southern Brazil.

Originally, Manzanares was scheduled to fight flyweight dynamo Leandro Higo. Due to work visa issues, Higo was not able to fight.

RFA is a professional mixed martial arts promotion that give rising stars and top contenders the opportunity to prove their talent to fans and leaders in the industry. The RFA presents about 10 fights annually around the United States, including one in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver and Milwaukee.
