Two out of the three high school football teams were playing in Cheyenne on week 6 of the season. Under the Friday night lights, Cheyenne East gets a win while Central loses and South is shut out by the number one team in the state.

October 10, 2014:

• #4 ranked Cheyenne East Thunderbirds 47-6 over the Laramie Plainsmen
• #1 ranked Casper Natrona Mustangs shut out Cheyenne South 52-0
• #3 ranked Sheridan Broncs defeat Cheyenne Central 44-7
