How did your favorite high school football team play on Friday night?

All three of Cheyenne's high school teams were playing in the Capitol City on Friday, September 11. East hosted South high while Central took on #3 Gillette. Here are the final scores. 

The Cheyenne East T-Birds are still undefeated against their newest cross town rivals. The Thunderbirds have won all five meetings between East and South high schools. The T-Birds beat the Bison 41-27 at the new Okie Blanchard stadium on Friday, September 11, to keep their perfect record. Cheyenne East was ranked at #4 in the state.

At Milt Riske Field in Cheyenne, the #5-ranked Central Indians lost to the #3-ranked team in the state, the Gillette Camels, 54-42 in a high scoring contest.

Both high school teams in eastern Laramie County lost on Friday, September 11. Burns lost to #4-ranked Newcastle 56-7 and Pine Bluffs was defeated by #1-ranked Lingle-Ft. Laramie 35-27.
